Hacklab Cosenza (Cosenza Hacking Laboratory), is a Research Center on Technology and Innovation, born thanks to the initiative of some researchers and students of the University of Calabria. The Hacklab acknowledges computers in the items of disclosure essential to the development of culture, economic and social context of a modern society. Believing that knowledge rests not know but few become heritage of the community, 'Hacklab promotes and spreads knowledge and the use of modern tools, with particular attention to the "Free Software" (just examples GNU / Linux , OpenOffice, Apache, MySQL, etc..), through courses, conferences, symposia, conferences, publications and any other initiative that will be deemed suitable for the purpose.
